ABOUT COLMERS COACHING
I founded Colmers Coaching because I know the difference coaching can make to individuals. The right coaching can help you challenge assumptions that may be limiting you, help you reframe how you see things and provide space for you to think deeply about the things that really matter to you.
I’m Sue Pemberton and I have over 25 years’ experience in organisational leadership. I’ve worked across demanding specialisms including risk assessment, information security, insider risk and HR and have led cross-organisational transformation projects.
As a senior leader, I’m used to dealing with many of the issues people encounter in the workplace such as working under pressure or working with intractable stakeholders. I’ve encountered imposter syndrome and much more. And I’ve learnt first-hand how appropriate coaching can overcome challenges like these, allowing individuals to thrive and organisations grow.
The right coaching can be a game-changer for anyone. But in particular I’m passionate about the positive impact coaching can have on neurodivergent people. It can help them unlock their true potential in the workplace.
My coaching career began with nine months’ intensive training with The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). I am fully accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), and recognised as a Time to Think Coach. You can check on these accreditations by clicking on the logos at the bottom of this page.
And Colmers Coaching? It gets its name from a famous landmark near where I live here in Dorset, England.
“I attended 4 neurodivergent coaching sessions with Sue, and it was excellent. I had a late dyslexia diagnosis and now a decade later am awaiting an ADHD diagnosis, so struggle with focusing only on negatives and lacking confidence at work. Sue’s coaching expertise shone through. I felt seen and understood. Her advocacy for neurodiversity was inspiring and I left each session feeling positive and empowered, helping me to recognize and celebrate my ND strengths. Highly recommended for anyone on a neurodivergent journey, Sue truly is a wonder and I feel so lucky to have experienced these coaching sessions. ”
